In this module, you will learn story and how to use your Brand Story Guide as the building blocks for your own go-to-market playbook!

You’ll be able to use this formula to create any type of copy or marketing collateral you need.

Your Sales Funnel allows prospects to engage with you through the process of first requesting a free ebook (your Lead Generator). 

From this, they go on your list and get emails from you that inspire and educate (this is the "email nurturing sequence" we'll create in Modules 3 & 4).

It’s a way for them to get to know you and how you can help them, and to introduce them to your offer.

Before we get into the freebie plan, we will have an overview of the sales funnel to set you up for success.

The first step in building a funnel is to create a Lead Magnet - a free download that prospects get by filling out a form on your website. This will add them to your contact database so you can stay in touch with them.

Your Lead Magnet provides your prospect with valuable content that speaks to that one problem you identify in the plan.

You continue to gain authority, inspire, and educate when you offer tips in the lead magnet.

We will review ways to design your freebie, including simple programs you can use to create your marketing collateral.

Now that you have the prospect's name and email address in exchange for the enticing PDF you created in Modules 1 & 2, you can set up automatic emails on a platform like Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or iContact.

The first step in writing emails your prospect will receive is your strategy.

You must decide what the purpose is for the email sequence and determine where you want to lead our prospect on the customer journey.

You will build your strategy in this module.

1. In this module, you will be developing your email nurturing campaign that will automatically go out to people who have signed up for your Freebie Lead Generator.

   In this sequence you’ll follow the email templates and use your Brand Story Guide to pull from to:

   • touch on the benefits you provide, 
   • offer helpful tips and information, 
   • address one of the main objections people have to your service, and 
   • offer your Call to Action of what you want them to do next, for example, a Discovery Call or to make a purchase, etc.

This week is about your website and online presence. You will:

• Design your website homepage or landing page layout and content, incorporating the messaging you’ve developed in previous weeks.
• Look at effective ways for navigating your site to get the most engagement.
• Establish the placeholder for your sales funnel opt-in form that you'll use to capture prospect's names and emails.

During this final week we'll discuss:

• The use of colors, fonts, and logos to create a positive experience for your site visitors.
• How to choose the proper images to powerfully tell your story. 

In addition, we will take a look at the overall look and feel, to make sure that everything is congruent - from your message to your layout and how the page leads visitors to take the next steps you want them to take.
